Jax The Bard

Jax The Bard is an emerging folk and fantasy singer-songwriter hailing from the United States. Known for her fantasy inspired music, Jax has built a growing audience across social media, gaining over one million followers and millions of views on her folk covers and originals. She is quickly establishing herself as a standout voice in the modern folk space, with a distinct sound that sets her apart within the genre.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Jax grew up listening to the songs from her Irish heritage, which continue to influence her sound to this day. At a young age, she began her training in choral music, where she achieved national level recognition for her voice.

In the midst of the 2020 pandemic, Jax found an unexpected outlet for her creativity on TikTok, where she began posting folk covers with a fantasy twist. With her warm alto tone, haunting melodies, and nods to the fantastical worlds she loves, her videos quickly gained her a following, resonating with fans of both folk music and fantasy alike.

She began releasing original music as an independent artist in 2024, leading to her debut album Wandering One in September 2025, which has reached over one million streams. In spring 2026, she completed her first tour.

Jax’s music draws from Irish traditional folk, Americana, and modern alternative folk, with lyrics influenced by her life experiences as well as fantasy stories, particularly from Dungeons & Dragons games and live action role play.
